Making Sourdough Fit into Family Life
Simple sourdough for real family life
As a busy mum of three, I know just how full family life can be, a constant rhythm of school runs, nap times, work, clubs and everything in between. For a long time, baking felt like something reserved for slower days, not something that could fit into the middle of it all.
But over time, I found a different way.
I’ve learnt how to build simple, flexible routines that allow me to bake fresh, delicious bread, pizzas and sweet treats alongside everyday life
.
There’s no need for perfection here, and no complicated processes. Just real-life sourdough that works around busy homes, even with interruptions, changing schedules, and the occasional family holiday.
Through my workshops, I share the recipes and routines that we use at home — simple, family-tested bakes that take the pressure out of sourdough and make it something you can genuinely enjoy.
Because feeding your family food free from additives shouldn’t feel like another job on the list, it should fit into your life, not the other way around.

The Simplicity of the Bake
There's no need to be daunted by sourdough, I promise you it is forgiving. You don't have to make an artisian loaf everyday, you can batch bake, go a little wrong, deveate from perfection and still serve up something delicious and infinitely better for you than mass produced bakes - I promise, I've been doing it in my jam packed home with 3 small kids.
